The Annual Southern Nevada Solar Home Tour

The American Solar Energy Society‘s National Solar Tour is the world’s largest grassroots solar event. It offers people from all over the country an opportunity to visit innovative green homes and buildings to see how you can use solar energy, energy efficiency and other sustainable technologies to reduce monthly utility bills and help tackle climate change. More than 160,000 participants will visit some 5,500 buildings in 3,200 communities across the U.S.

The 2011 Southern Nevada Solar Home Tour is over and it was a great event. Solar NV would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who made it possible, from the owners who opened their home and shared their stories, to the volunteers who helped them throughout the day and of course, the sponsors who supported the event. We invite you to join us next year – but without the wait. The best way to do that is to become a member of Solar NV or attend our monthly meetings that are open to the public. Clean, fresh energy from the sun is transforming the world and it is very exciting. Be on the forefront of this important paradigm shift!
