Solar NV's Membership Category Descriptions

Student Membership ($12.00): Intended for full-time students who may be short on cash but full of energy, ideas, and interest in renewable energy.

Benefits Include:

• Chapter Membership for one full-time student
• Access to monthly newsletter (eNews) with opportunity to contribute
• Informative monthly meetings
• Opportunity to support renewable energy education and local project development

Basic Membership ($24.00): Intended for most individuals who have an interest in learning about renewable energy and ways to use it within our own community.

Benefits Include:

• Chapter Membership for one individual
• Access to monthly newsletter (eNews) with opportunity to contribute
• Informative monthly meetings
• Opportunity to support renewable energy education and local project development

Benefactor Membership ($120.00): Intended for small-businesses, organizations, or individuals who are interested in promoting the use of renewable energy and encouraging public education on the subject.

Benefits Include:

• Chapter Membership for up to three individuals
• Access to monthly newsletter (eNews) with opportunity to contribute
• Informative monthly meetings
• Opportunity to support renewable energy education and local project development
• Acknowledgement on Solar NV web site
  • e.g. company name/logo and address or other
• A portion of the proceeds goes toward the chapter’s “solar for senior” programs
  • $10 goes toward the purchase of two compact florescent light bulbs

Benefits Include:

• Chapter Membership for up to five individuals
• Access to monthly newsletter (eNews) with opportunity to contribute
• Informative monthly meetings
• Opportunity to support renewable energy education and local project development
• Acknowledgement on Solar NV web site
  • e.g. company name/logo and address or other
• Acknowledgement on chapter brochures
• Acknowledgement on chapter banners
• A portion of the proceeds goes toward the chapter’s “solar for senior” programs
  • $25 goes toward the purchase of five compact florescent light bulbs
• A portion of the proceeds is donated to the solar electric light fund
  • $25 is donated, enough to purchase a full lighting kit including ballast, fixture & bulb for a village, home or school
