Crinis is Solar NV’s award banquet that honors an individual in the southern Nevada community for their contributions to renewable energy and/or energy efficiency with the Nevada Renewable Energy Leadership (NEVREL) Award. The NEVREL Award honors an individual for significant contributions toward the creation of a secure energy future through innovation in conservation and/or renewable energy technology in Nevada. The contributions may be through research, education, and/or practice. Criteria for this award is based on, but not limited to, the following contributions in Nevada:
  • Significant research in energy conservation and renewable energy.
  • Contributions to education related to energy conservation and renewable energy.
  • Significant contribution to the practice of engineering through invention, design or implementation of innovations in the field of energy conservation and renewable energy.
  • Significant service to society that has lead to a more secure energy future.
Dr. Boehm has proven himself a renewable energy leader with supporting research in cutting edge renewable energy technologies such as hydrogen, concentrating solar thermal power, concentrating photovoltaics and building efficiency. In addition to his many contributions to the industry he has made significant contributions to education by supporting students and the community at large.
